IGP TRAINING

Formally known as “schutzhund”, IGP is a dog sport that was developed in Germany in the early 1900s as a breed suitability test for the German Shepherd Dog. The test would determine if the dog displayed appropriate traits and characteristics to make a proper working dog. Although the sport has changed over the years, it still consists of 3 phases; tracking, obedience, and protection. This sport requires dedication, precision, accountability, and above all; love for the sport!

RALLY-OBEDIENCE

CKC Rally obedience is a companion sport to CKC obedience. It requires teamwork between handler and dog alongside with performance skills. The objective of rally obedience is to provide a fast-paced and enjoyable activity, while still completing a series of exercises accurately. In rally obedience, you do a course consisting of multiple obedience signs. “Dogs should demonstrate willingness, and enjoyment.” - CKC.ca

OBEDIENCE AND RELATIONSHIP

At Inferno Canine, we believe that relationship is the foundation of all obedience, and that is why we decided to offer relationship building as the bread and butter of basic obedience 01. Our class is focused on reliability of obedience exercises using balanced training approaches. During this course, you will also learn reward styles, marker systems, and the 4 quadrants of operant conditioning.
